The egg is a new cultural project situated in the heart of Brussels at a stone’s throw of the railway station Brussels South, spread out over 5.000m². It’s an exceptional location with an easy access and many different parking facilities.

 

Breaks and lunches will be held in the Grand Hall, which has an undeniable cachet when the natural daylight catches the walls of this fabulous industrial space. The Mezzanine of the restaurants has an open view on the terrace. This area of 225m² was created to offer a moment of calmness and relaxation for guests and speakers during the sessions.

DIRECTIONS BY CAR

 

Due to its central location, The Egg has plenty of parking facilities in the vicinity. The best place to park your car is the Qpark Zuidstation- Gare du Midi, located underneath the railway station at a 5-minute walk from congress venue.

 

 

You can enter the parking from two entrances:

  • Frankrijkstraat – Rue de France 40, 1060 Brussels
  • Rue Ernest Blerot 1, 1060 Brussels

 

Follow exit ‘Frankrijkstraat/Rue de France’ for shuttle busses to the congress venue.

On 16 August 2022, a new circulation plan was introduced in the Pentagon, the city centre of Brussels. This new circulation plan is the local implementation of Good Move, the mobility plan of the Brussels Capital Region. Please prepare your visit carefully and check the new mobility plan by checking the website here

Since January 1st 2018, in order to improve air quality and therefore public health, the use of the most polluting vehicles is prohibited in the Brussels LEZ (Low Emission Zone).

If you do not meet the conditions, we would like to inform you that there are park-and-ride car parks on the access routes leading into Brussels, however we support the use of public transportation. 

Warning - Vehicles registered abroad must be registered before entering the territory of Brussels (information to be provided: type of vehicle, Euro standard and fuel).

  • Registration is free.
  • The registration must be made via the official website
  • The vehicle registration is valid for 3 years provided that the vehicle owner’s situation does not change.
  • Any non-registered vehicle is liable to a fine of 150 euros.
  • Currently, the registration of a vehicle for access to the City of Antwerp is not valid in Brussels, it is necessary to provide a separate registration.
 

 

DIRECTRIONS BY TRAIN
 

Brussels has different railway stations spread over the city, the nearest railway station to The Egg is Brussel-Zuid/Bruxelles-Midi. 


The Egg is located at 800m of the railway station, and you can walk to the venue within 10 minutes. Shuttle busses will be provided between the congress venue and the station, please follow the exit signs ‘Rue de France – Frankrijkstraat’. DIRECTIONS BY BUS


The main bus, tram and metro lines have a stop at Brussel-Zuid – Bruxelles Gare du Midi. The Egg is situated at 800m from the station and you can walk to the venue within 10 minutes.

 

 

 

Bus line 78 Zuidstation/Gare du Midi – Humaniteit/Humanité stops just in front of The Egg.
